Tricep DipsWhat is the East Lansing Adventure Boot Camp?

The East Lansing Adventure Boot Camp is the area's premier and ONLY four-week indoor/outdoor program of fitness instruction, nutritional counseling and motivational training. You will be inspired and have fun while participating in a fantastic workout developed and led by Certified Adventure Fitness trainer. For most sessions, expect to spend at least some time outdoors in the fresh air (now, that's the way to start your day!). The possible exception will be during the frigid winter months when temperature drops below 32 degrees and the ground is snow-covered - but we advise you to dress in layers, even on Winter days.  Each day of camp is one hour in length, motivating, inspiring and will start exactly at the appointed start time on the calendar page.

What if I'm not very physically fit?

NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Nor will anybody go home unchallenged! Women and men of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Each day will slightly increase in intensity. You will inspire and be inspired by others.

What types of exercises are included in the program?

Exercises include: core conditioning, short distance running, lunges, muscular strength, jumping rope, circuit training, obstacle courses, push-ups, Pilates, games, surprises, and more!

Mat and WeightsHow often will we meet?

5-day per week morning participants will meet every Monday through Friday while 3-day per week morning participants will meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  All participants will be expected to arrive on time or, better yet, a few minutes early for stretching so that we can make the most out of each hour, together.

What do I need to bring?

You will need to bring one set of 5 - 8 lb. hand weights (women) or 8 - 10 lb weights (men) and any type of exercise mat (you can get both of these at any local Meijer, Target , Wal-Mart, TJ Maxx, Marshalls or fitness stores). You will also want to bring water to keep yourself hydrated during camp. Optional items are a towel to dry off with and gloves and a hat or headband in the Winter. Dress in layers and even if it is chilly, don't worry - you will get warm very fast! And always bring a good attitude!

Adventure Boot CampWhat is the cost (investment in myself)?

Each 5-day per week, four-week boot camp has a registration fee of $259 for 20 hours of instruction! That's just $12.95 per hour! Where else can you get premiere or cutting edge fitness instruction for that incredible price? Personal trainers can typically charge $55-$125 per hour for their services. This is a great opportunity to receive motivating fitness instruction by a certified personal trainer for just a fraction of the cost. You truly cannot put a price on your health, self esteem and the confidence you will gain from East Lansing Adventure Boot Camp. If you look at what you will save in medical bills down the road, lost opportunities due to your health, or having to buy larger size clothing (!!) $12.95 for an hour of empowerment is priceless.

The Adventure Boot Camp Program is designed to be done 5 days per week however, there is a 3 day a week option, as well. The 5 day a week program includes 20 sessions and is the best way to jump start your fitness and see dramatic improvements, all for just $259. Can't commit to 5 days per week? Adventure Boot CampWhen Should I Register?

We are now accepting registrations for the next camp. Once we receive your registration and payment, you will receive a confirmation with the date of the nutrition seminar and fitness assessment. Camp sizes are limited, so we recommend registering as soon as you can.  Your registration reserves your spot in a camp while your payment secures/guarantees your spot.   Spots that are reserved but not paid for prior to the first day of camp may be subject to removal, should a camp have a waiting list.   

What East Lansing Adventure Boot Camp is NOT:

The East Lansing Adventure Boot Camp is NOT a militaristic style camp where you will be humiliated or an overly competitive environment where you will be pushed beyond your abilities. Once again, this is a friendly, fun environment where everyone works to the best of their ability. You have everything to gain by joining. Don't let any false fears hold you back.
